Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure video game and the fifth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. It was developed by Rockstar North (formerly DMA Design) and published by Rockstar Games.
Playable characters are the three protagonists of the game: Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips, and Franklin Clinton. Michael's story arc covers an out-of-touch parent forced to abandon his family; Trevor's story arc is about a psychotic meth-addict, and Franklin's story arc centers on a gang-affiliated driver who is forced to leave his old gang.
Grand Theft Auto V contains a wide variety of different landscapes. One example is the fictional city of Los Santos, which is based on the city of Los Angeles. The topography, the buildings, the people, and the vehicles have been replicated in detail.
Grand Theft Auto V features an open world environment, which allows the player to freely roam in the city of Los Santos. In the story mode, the player can replay the campaign from the perspective of one of the three characters that they have chosen.
Grand Theft Auto IV has been widely praised by critics and fans alike, receiving perfect review scores from a number of reviewers, including GameSpot and GameTrailers; IGN gave the game an overall score of 9.7 out of 10, citing "Amazing", "phenomenal", "amazing", and "fantastic" as some of the words to describe the game. GameSpot gave the game a score of 9.5 out of 10, while IGN. gave it a 10 out of 10. GameTrailers gave it a 9.7 out of 10, and the final score was a 9.6 out of 10 from Game Informer.
